There are so many great beer styles that originated in Belgium. Four styles that you may not be familiar with are the Belgian Blond, Dubbel, Tripel, and Quadrupel.
Old Rapp currently has 2 of the 4 styles on tap. Check out the style descriptions below and come in this week before they're gone to compare and taste the Hardywood Singel blond ale and the Boulevard Bourbon Barrel Quadrupel ale! Comment to let us know if you have a favorite!
Blonds are a moderate-strength golden ale that has a subtle Belgian complexity, slightly sweet flavor, and dry finish.
Dubbels are a deep reddish, moderately strong, malty, complex Belgian ale.
Tripels are slightly darker and somewhat fuller-bodied than a Blond. Usually has a more rounded malt flavor but should not be sweet.
Quadrupels are dark in color, very rich, complex, very strong Belgian ale.
